Questions and answers
Something else on your mind? Ask me at your free consultation or email info@manikaur.fit.
Are you qualified?
Yes. I'm a Level 3 qualified personal trainer, with specialist qualifications in pre and post natal exercise, weight loss and nutrition, and exercise referral. That means I can safely train you during and after pregnancy, and work with clients referred by their GP. See my qualifications.
Where do sessions take place?
1-2-1 and small group sessions are at 53-55 The Broadway, Joel Street, Northwood HA6 1NZ, a short walk from Northwood Hills station. Online clients train wherever suits them, at home or in their own gym.
How much does online coaching cost?
Online coaching is £200 a month. It includes a tailored programme in the app, form checks, nutrition guidance, regular check-ins, a monthly review and the private community. We'll agree how it works best for you on your free call.
What happens at the free consultation?
We talk through your goals, your routine, anything holding you back and any health history I should know about. You'll leave knowing what training with me would look like and whether it's right for you. There's no obligation to sign up.
I've never set foot in a gym. Is that a problem?
Not at all. Plenty of my clients started as complete beginners. I'll teach you how to use the equipment and how to move well, at a pace that feels manageable.
Am I too old to start?
No. Some of my clients started in retirement and now train together as a small group. Every programme starts from where you are today.
Do you train women before and after pregnancy?
Yes. I came back to training myself after having twins, so I know how it feels. We'll work around your stage and energy levels, once your GP or midwife has given you the go-ahead.
Will I have to give up the foods I love?
No. Nutrition guidance is built around your life, your culture and your family meals, including vegetarian diets. The aim is habits you can keep, not a list of banned foods.
I have a health condition. Can I still train?
Yes, in most cases. I'm qualified in exercise referral, so I can work with clients who have conditions such as high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, joint problems or low mood, within the limits their doctor has set. Tell me about it at your consultation.
How does online coaching work day to day?
Your programme lives in an app, with demo videos for every exercise. You send me form-check videos, I send feedback, and we review progress together at your check-ins.
